The Rock Star

He was a simple piece of matter

Floating in the void

Eternity

With his millions of brothers and sisters

They were happy

They were glad

They maintained their pull

To one another

To their mother and father

Grandfather and grandmother

Bonded forever

Inseparable

At one point

Things got real cold

Almost freezing

There was a force 

That only affected him

It pushed him

He cried for help

But no one could help

They were all... Simple matter

It didn't move fast

But it didn't take long

He said goodbye, farewell

He felt himself drifting

And each second that passed

His brothers got smaller

He felt bigger

He had no pull on his being

He felt strong

As he got farther

He got much colder

Freezing

As he froze, he crystallized

And as he crystallized

His will began to burn

Angst

Obsession

Passion

For family

Friends

Loneliness

He felt a fire in his core

And it kept him warm at first

But it soon started to grow

And it turned all the crystal

Into light

He became a star
